With all of the new innovations going on at Ancestry, you may have missed one of the most recently added features. You can now use DNA Discoveries to enhance your tree view allowing you to see your Ancestry ThruLines. Here’s how you enable it.
1. Go to your Tree View
2. Click on the new DNA Discoveries button on the left side of the screen under the tree view icons
3. This will then open the DNA Discoveries window on the far right of your screen where you can then turn “ON” ThruLines.
4. This will enable ThruLines icons in your Tree View.
5 Clicking on a DNA ThruLines icon in Tree View now takes you directly to that ancestor’s ThruLines.
This allows for a much more visual view of your ThruLines and easier access to specific lines that you may be working on similar to traditional tree ‘leaf” hints.
